Nettigo Air Monitor is available in two forms: as a kit for self-soldering or as a ready-made, soldered kit that only needs to be assembled.
The fast track!
The fastest and simplest version is the soldered NAM. This version has an external WiFi antenna, which maximizes the WiFi range (essential for proper operation). Product page on Nettigo. You will receive it in approximately this form:
All that's left is to assemble and configure it. Done!
A path that gives even more satisfaction
Using NAM is very satisfying, but if you build it yourself, the satisfaction will be even greater. Even if you don't have much experience with soldering, the NAM soldering process is well described and within the reach of the average DIY enthusiast (or DIY enthusiast, there are no restrictions!). You can check it out by browsing our soldering instructions and decide for yourself if this is a task you want to undertake. We sincerely encourage you to do so, because the satisfaction of assembling the system yourself is much greater! The soldering kit looks something like this:
There are two options to choose from - version with external antenna (as in the ready-made set) or with an antenna built into the processor module.
What else?
Depending on your needs, you may also consider:
- A mounting bracket (or two) for NAM to make it easier to install.
- Add a light intensity sensor (it is worth reading the installation notes in Polish)
- CO2 sensor (you will also need an adapter + cables, and the adapter will need to be soldered)
